Old essay - tails
As the tutor reads the essay, he is pleased to see that Barry appears to be taking his studies seriously at last. Clearly that little chat they had couple of weeks ago did the job. The arguments and references show evidence of significant background reading; in fact this leap in quality is too good to be true. One of the arguments shows particular insight into the topic and seems strangely familiar. He puts the essay to one side prior to a little academic detective work in the School Office's files.
All the essays are handed back in class, except Barry's. His tutor instead tells him to go immediately to the Head of School's office. When he knocks and enters, he sees his friend Chris is already there, white faced, and realises that he has got them both into serious trouble.
