If Barry tried to borrow some money from his parents and managed to get a good grade for the assignment - well done. He has cheated and lied but has bought himself some time to try and sort out his life. What happens next is up to him.
Otherwise, Barry is still trapped by circumstances and his next assignment is due in ten days. He can either:
B -take a risk and cheat this assignment as well
C -decide that cheating an assignment was not worth the risk, and make a new start
