A new start
Barry is going to have to find a balance between his work, studies and social life. In the short term, his social life will have to be simplified so he can save money and get his studies back on track. If he fails his first year or has to get a full-time job, his University social life will disappear anyway.
He could talk to his bank, arrange a loan and work over the summer vacation.
He should improve his study skills to make the most of the time he does have.
He will definitely need to work hard to catch up with the studies he has missed.
