What I read
Research can be classified into one of two categories:
1. That which increases the understanding of health, and the process of healthcare.
2. That which enables an assessment of interventions that could be used to try to promote health, prevent ill health, or improve the process of healthcare.

What I read
Quality of life measures range from broad general health profiles (generic) to disease-specific scales. The broad health profiles are those which have not been developed for specific target populations or patient groups. A limitation is that they do not always focus on the specific problems of a given patient group. Trew M and Everett T (eds) (2005) Human movement: an introductory text. (5th Edition) London: Elsevier p.163

Quality of life measures range from broad generic profiles to disease-specific measurements. Broad health profiles are those which have not been developed for specific populations or client groups. These are limited because they do not generally focus on the particular problems of a client group.

What I read
The arched shape of the foot is very helpful to movement in several ways. The flexibility of the arch means that the foot can mould itself
to a variety of supporting surfaces (Trew and Everett 2005). This can be explored for a range of surfaces, and different foot shapes.
The results are shown in table 1.

What I read
Various guides to anatomy and physiology during my undergraduate course.
What I wrote
The majority of animals including human beings have developed limbs to suit particular purposes. The limbs of a cheetah are designed for running at speed, whilst those of human beings enable them to carry out a wide range of movements, and hence be very versatile.
